Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy covers deposits, cancellations, and refunds for engagements. It's designed to be fair to both sides and to meet payment-provider requirements.
1. Deposits
Many engagements begin with a deposit that reserves time and kicks off scoping. The deposit is applied against the first milestone. Because it reserves capacity that would otherwise go to another client, the deposit is non-refundable once work has begun, except as described below.
2. Cancellation
Either party may cancel an engagement with written notice. On cancellation, you are billed for all work completed and in progress up to the cancellation date; any prepaid amount beyond that is credited or refunded.
3. Refunds & credits
Completed and delivered work is billable and non-refundable. Where a prepayment exceeds the value of work delivered, the difference is refunded to the original payment method or issued as a credit toward future work, at your choice.
Approved refunds are processed within 7 to 10 business days.
4. Retainers
Retainers are billed monthly in advance. Unused capacity does not roll over. You may pause or end a retainer with 30 days notice; the current month remains payable.
5. Disputes
